Blue Eyes at Marc by Marc Jacobs

I just love this fresh SS14 look as seen on the models on the Marc by Marc Jacobs runway. This look is best worn with minimal lips and hair with natural movement.

Are you bold enough to try blue?

#Review Rodial 5 Minute Facial

I have a confession to make- I'm a/ obviously a 12 year old girl and b/ addicted to those 99p face masks (see point a/ as to why).

In my head, I am well aware they are not helping my complexion one iota- but I love the routine of slipping into a bubble bath, lighting a candle and putting on a face mask.

So when this Rodial face mask popped through my letterbox I was overjoyed- 'hurrah, at last a grown up's face mask'....

Beauty Mantra

Like my Mum always says: when you're happy on the inside, you'll look good on the outside.

I often find, when I'm in a bit of a slump, I look like crap. Which in turn makes me feel worse. Don't beat yourself up about your looks or compare yourself to anyone else. Just try and look the best for YOU. Eat healthily, indulge sometimes, exercise and laugh.

If you have an inner sparkle; you'll sparkle on the outside as well!

25 BEAUTY Facts About Me

1/ I have moisturised my whole life- I thought everyone did. My mum always used to slather us kids in  moisturiser after baths! Good habits.

2/ I always use factor 50 in the summer. I'm trying to find a good SPF cream to use during winter. I will not get wrinkles.

3/ I used to suffer from adult acne- it was so horrible and really knocked my confidence. Luckily a trip to the doctor, a few months and some antibiotics sorted it out. I still get a bit paranoid though.

4/ I like the colour of my skin- although it changes quite dramatically. I tan soooo much during summer but in winter I'm relatively pale. That's why I don't wear foundation. I never know what colour my face will be!

5/ I'm allergic to the active ingredient in pretty much all spot creams so when I do get a spot I have to just grin and bare it! Tea tree oil can help though.

6/ I hate my teeth- my wisdom teeth have made them all wonky in the past couple of years... I'm livid! They used to be pretty nice. I also hate my nose- but like piercing it!

7/ My favourite part of me- or one of them- is my hair. It's quite shiny and very long and soft. It can go a bit mental sometimes but that can be fun. It's naturally wavy but easy to straighten or wear curly.

8/ E45 is my favourite moisturiser- it's a bit greasy but you know it does the job. It's also gentle on my sensitive skin.

9/ My skin is so irritable. I've had countless allergic reactions- some so bad I've not been able to open my eyes. I seek out natural products.

10/ My number one hair tip is to not wash it that often and to avoid blowdrying and straightening. My hair is in a scruffy topknot 99% of the time.

11/ Invest in good bobbles too- not ones with metal clips they tear your hair!

12/ I have two beauty spots (or freckles depending on your point of view) on my face. One above my lip and one above my eye.

13/ My desert island beauty product? An eyebrow pencil. I have no eyebrows. Not due to over plucking- I was literally born with no eyebrows. Nightmare.

14/ My eyebrow pencil of choice- Rimmel. Cheap as chips and the best I've tried. And I've tried a lot.

15/ I love Bobbi Brown gel liner and have been using it for about 6 or 7 years. It really is the best eyeliner on the market.

16/ I always try to take off my makeup before bed- sometimes I fail- I don't wear THAT much day-to-day so if i do the results aren't that bad.

17/ I wear WAY less makeup now than I did a couple of years ago. Coming to London from the North was a culture shock. Londoners wear way less makeup. They're about good skin and looking effortless. It was an adjustment...

18/ ...especially letting go of my beloved false lashes. There was a point in my life when wore them almost every day and I certainly I wouldn't go partying without them on! Heaven forbid. Now I can even go OUT out with minimal make up and no lashes.

19/ The other day I went OUT out with my hair in a scruffy topknot. That was a first and I felt fine.
20/ My mum and dad are 52 and 50 respectively and neither have any wrinkles at all so hopefully genetics will prevail and I'll have good skin as I age!

21/ Although I love my hair- it is so fine! So I'm quite conscious about it snapping. I swear every time someone hugs me they rip out strands of my hair. Oh, and I don't do anything chemically to it!

22/ My favourite makeup brand is MAC because most of their stuff is unperfumed and their lipsticks and eyeshadows are so highly pigmented.

23/ My all time fave lipstick is MAC Ruby Woo- which is a perfect red shade. It looks great on olive and asian skin as it's the right balance of orange and blue.

24/ I use argan oil on my face body and hair as it has antibacterial qualities and leaves everything soft. No wonder Moroccan women look so beautiful!

25/ My number one beauty tip? You are what you eat. Drink lots of water, eat loads of fruit and veg and nuts and fish... all that good stuff. I'm a sweetie addict and whenever I binge on junk my skin regrets it.

So that's it- I hope my 25 beauty facts were interesting!  Sheree XX

#Review Le Volume De Chanel Mascara

Mascara: Chanel @ Selfridges

I was sent this as a free sample but it is my new favourite mascara. Everytime I wear it someone compliments me on how long my eyelashes are!

It's pretty amazing, and the first mascara by Chanel I've used. The brush looks quite generic but picks up a lot of mascara and is bristly enough to lift and coat each lash.

The formula feels really light but just one coat adds loads of volume- as well as mega length.

I'm a convert. Have you tried this mascara?
